Add a brand card
- Open SyncPass and tap the add button.
- Choose the brand from the brand list.
- Scan the barcode or enter the card number manually.
- Check the preview, choose the wallet, and save the card.
Add a custom card
- Tap the add button and choose the custom card option.
- Enter the card name and barcode number.
- Pick the barcode format shown on the original card when you know it.
- Choose colors that make the card easy to recognize, then save.
Share wallets
Wallet sharing lets another person see the cards inside a shared wallet through iCloud. Use it for household cards, family memberships, or cards you want a partner to access.
- Open the wallet you want to share.
- Use the share action and invite the person with their Apple ID.
- Cards added to that wallet can become visible to invited members after iCloud sync finishes.
Edit cards
- Open a card from your wallet.
- Tap edit.
- Update the name, number, barcode type, wallet, or appearance.
- Save the card and check that the barcode preview still scans correctly.
Move cards to another wallet
Moving a card changes which wallet owns it. If the destination wallet is shared, the card may be shared with that wallet's members. If you move a card out of a shared wallet into a private wallet, the shared wallet members should no longer receive that card after sync catches up.
- Open the card and tap edit.
- Choose a different wallet.
- Save the change.
- Give iCloud a moment to sync sharing changes across devices.
Import from other apps using screenshots
Many loyalty card apps can show a barcode full screen. You can use screenshots to move those cards into SyncPass.
- Open the other app and display the card barcode as clearly as possible.
- Take a screenshot.
- In SyncPass, tap the add button and select the correct brand if available, or 'Other'.
- When presented with the barcode scanner, tap the 'select from library' option, choose the correct screenshot and confirm the detected barcode details.
- If the barcode is not detected, add the card manually and type the number shown below the barcode.
